Youth Ministries

Teaching young people to grow in their relationship with God prepares them to serve Him in all they do. Realizing that they are not only loved by God but also by their brothers and sisters in Christ gives them the confidence they need to cope with life's inevitable ups and downs.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.

Sent Together: Community

We all want to be part of something significant. We want to make a difference! We dream of making an impact and leaving the world better than we found it. Some people try to change the world alone, but the people who have made the biggest and most positive differences in the world know you cannot do anything truly significant on your own.

Jesus told us this on His last day on earth. He gave his followers a mission that would change the world. But He made it clear we could not do it alone. He was sending us on a mission together. A mission that can bring healing. One that can only be accomplished together. One that we can boldly choose to be a part of.

Jesus told His disciples, “So you must go to people in every country of the world. Teach them how to become my disciples. Baptize them by the authority of God the Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything that I have taught you. You can be sure that I will be with you always. I will be with you until the end of time” (Matthew 28:19-20). This message is true for us today…we are sent together for God to the people of God.

High School Hangout - Decompress During Final Exams

Wednesday, June 7 and Thursday, June 8 Noon to 2:30 p.m.

High School Students

High school students are invited for an afternoon to relax and decompress while having fun hanging out with friends. This is open to ALL students.

High School Hangouts offer students areas to hang out, study, and play games along with, of course, lunch, snacks and beverages. Our goal is to give high school students a place where they feel welcome, loved, and supported. As these relationships grow, we are hoping to tailor this program to include additional things in which the students are interested, such as cornhole and other tournaments, tutoring opportunities and discussion groups.
